I was going to put a metal roof on my home but with the Atlas warranty you can get a 130 mph, Scotchgard protected shingle for at least half the cost.  Awesome!  The contractor (Guy Brothers Roofing) did a nice job but the test will come this summer with rain and possible hurricane force winds. My wife and I really like the look of the Chalkstone Slate shingle.

Here in South Louisiana, we unfortunately are very familiar with Hurricanes. In the aftermath of Hurricanes, we see many roof shingles that are ripped off by the hurricane force winds. When my wife and I decided that we needed to replace our roof, we wanted a roof shingle that would protect our home and a shingle that wouldn't be ripped off by hurricanes. We contacted Cajun Construction, LLC in Erath, LA and spoke with Shane Romero. He came to our home and gave us a in home demonstration of the 'Atlas Signature Select Roof System'. He provided us with brochures, warranty documents, color boards for the Pinnacle shingles for Atlas. He assured us that Atlas Roofing's shingle were the best and we looked at several Atlas Roof Systems that he previously installed back in 2004, 2005, 2006 that have already survived multiple hurricanes and didn't loose even one shingle! After speaking with Shane Romero, my wife and I knew that we wanted a Pinnacle Roof System and we wanted Cajun Construction, LLC to install our new roof. He helped us choose the Hearthstone Gray color and now that they new shingle is installed, the color choice was PERFECT!!
